Chef Joe just about epitomises all the qualities of a great Head Chef – that is why we now entrust him with some of the toughest challenges in the business.

Amazing Fact:

At the tender age of 28, Joe has only just passed his driving test (even though his Mum is a Driving Instructor!)

About Joe:

From opening new sites to overseeing the processes and procedures in all of our kitchens Joe takes it all in stride.

From earning some extra dosh as a KP in a small fish restaurant when he was just 15, he soon got the ‘Chefing’ bug and when he was offered the chance to hone his skills and train as a chef he grabbed the opportunity with both hands.

He joined us as an eager Junior Sous just over 5 years ago and has progressed through blood, sweat and tears to become our ‘go-to’ guy for anything operational.

He claims it was his Mum who first inspired him to cook – but hey, we’ve all seen the Mary Berry books Joe
